Maimoni is a wide, natural-looking beach with very pale sand mixed with quartz grains. Dunes, Mediterranean scrub and protected wetlands create an open, lightly developed landscape.

What is Maimoni like?

The long beach feels spacious. Sand colour changes with the light and contrasts with the blue sea. The beach is exposed to western winds, which can make the water rough.

Services and access

At Maimoni you’ll find a large parking area and, in season, bars and refreshment points. As in the main coastal locations of the Sinis, parking is paid during the period when the service is active. For current rates, season passes and updates, check Muvin Cabras or contact the customer desk at the Multipurpose Centre on Via Tharros in Cabras.

What to combine with the visit

Maimoni lies on a route rich in alternatives: Seu Oasis, Is Arutas, San Salvatore and San Giovanni di Sinis. It suits a day combining sea, nature and small villages.

Practical information

Opening times, access, services, parking and environmental conditions can change during the year. Before visiting, always check official channels and the information available on site.
